Ph.D. Clinical Psychologist

Deciding to start therapy isn’t always easy—it takes courage to reach out, and I’m really glad you’re here.

Finding a therapist who feels like the right fit can be overwhelming—especially if you're already dealing with anxiety, overthinking, or the emotional weight of a life transition.

Whether you're navigating self-doubt, people-pleasing, or the pressure to always get it right, therapy offers a space to pause, reflect, and begin to make sense of what you're going through.

I offer in-person therapy in Summit, NJ and virtual sessions across PSYPACT states—so support is available wherever you are in your journey.

The Heart of My Practice

At the core of my work is a deep commitment to helping people break free from the cycles of anxiety, self-doubt, and overthinking that can make life feel overwhelming.

These struggles often surface in everyday moments—questioning a career decision, feeling unsure in a relationship, or managing the emotional weight of a health challenge.

Over time, they can lead to avoidance, second-guessing, and a disconnect from your inner voice.

I also work with individuals who are rethinking their beliefs, deconstructing their faith, or rebuilding after leaving high-control religious environments—experiences that often bring their own form of anxiety, guilt, and identity confusion.

It’s easy to feel stuck between the comfort of the familiar and the fear of the unknown.

I’m here to help you find steady ground in the midst of that in-between space.

Across my work, I’ve noticed a common thread: even planned or “positive” life changes can leave people feeling unsettled and overwhelmed.

Whether it's leaving an unhealthy job, ending a relationship, or adjusting to a new medical diagnosis, transitions have a way of surfacing unexpected emotions.

Understanding this led me to focus my practice on helping people make sense of these moments.

Therapy is not just about coping—it’s about making space for these shifts, honoring the discomfort, and finding clarity in who you are becoming.

Because change isn’t just about what happens around us—it’s also about what transforms within us. And those inner shifts deserve care and attention.

I believe that managing anxiety isn’t about eliminating it altogether—it’s about learning how to navigate it with more ease, flexibility, and confidence.

My role is to walk alongside you as we untangle the thoughts, patterns, and behaviors that keep you feeling stuck.

I approach therapy with curiosity, compassion, and a focus on helping you loosen anxiety’s grip—whether that shows up as second-guessing, people-pleasing, or constant self-criticism.

Therapy with me is collaborative, active, and grounded in research. I draw primarily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which helps you make space for difficult thoughts and emotions while building a life that reflects your values.

I also incorporate tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify unhelpful thinking patterns and develop practical strategies for managing stress and uncertainty.

We’ll work together to understand what fuels your anxiety, explore what matters most to you, and build tools that feel practical and sustainable for your life.

Whether anxiety has been a lifelong struggle or something that’s surfaced more recently, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and better understand what your thoughts and emotions are trying to tell you.

Together, we’ll work to manage anxiety, build resilience, and reconnect you with your internal compass—so you can make decisions with confidence, strengthen your relationships, and feel more present in your body and your life.

How I Work

Services

In-person therapy available in Summit, NJ & virtual therapy in all participating PSYPACT states

I specialize in therapy for anxiety, life transitions, and religious trauma—focusing on the moments when life feels uncertain, overwhelming, or out of alignment. Whether you're navigating inner doubt, major changes, or the lingering effects of past experiences, therapy can help you find clarity, confidence, and a path forward.

When anxiety takes over, it can be hard to think clearly, make decisions, or simply feel at ease in your own mind. Whether you're overwhelmed by constant overthinking, perfectionism, or people-pleasing, therapy can help you reconnect with yourself, quiet the noise, and move forward with greater confidence.

Life transitions—expected or not—can leave you feeling lost, unsteady, or emotionally raw. Whether you're adjusting to a major life change like divorce, a new career, or a health challenge, therapy gives you space to process, regroup, and grow through the uncertainty.

Leaving a high-control faith, rethinking long-held beliefs, or deconstructing your spiritual identity can be deeply disorienting. I offer therapy for those navigating religious trauma, shame, identity confusion, or fear tied to past spiritual experiences—helping you rebuild trust in yourself and your own voice.
